Bike Prom 2026 - Our Biggest Gala to Date!
In 2023, we reintroduced our annual fundraising gala - Bike Prom. It was a night to celebrate Jimmy Hallyburton’s retirement and a moment to reflect on everything that had been built, together, over years of shared work, shared rides, and shared belief in what a bicycle can do for a community. In 2025, Bike Prom grew into the Linen Building, lively and filling the building wall-to-wall with our community. The support we received last year helped us expand our Shifting Gears Program to another facility at the Southern Idaho Correctional Institute, enrolling 52 women and fixing 485 bikes for local kids.
This year, at the Treefort Music Hall, that energy expanded even further! Over 230 people gathered together, bringing with them generosity and a shared commitment to our neighborhood and each other. There was music, food from Lost Grove Brewing, goofy bike games, and joy. Together, we soared past our fundraising goal. Bike Prom is a reminder that this work has never been about bikes alone. It’s about people showing up for one another. It’s about what becomes possible when a community leans in, gives what they can, and believes in a shared future. And if this year is any indication, that future is bright, growing, and powered by all of us! We want to give everyone who joined us a huge thank you from our team at BBP.
