I was raised on bikes and skis in the foothills of Boise and the various mountains throughout Idaho. Fortunate to have grown up in a family that values recreational sports, after moving back to Boise, I organically gravitated to the community and advocacy work of the Boise Bicycle Project. Over the past few years, my involvement deepened from volunteer shifts here and there to being an active member of the Advocacy Committee where we learned about multiple modality infrastructure policy and how to positively impact policy that ensures safer streets in ADA County.

Being a member of that committee blew my heart and mind wide open to the realization that our community deserves access to safe routes, whether they’re biking out of necessity or pleasure.

As a board member, I’m encouraged by the strong foundation of trust and support that the Boise Bicycle Project has built with the treasure valley community over the last 10+ years. I’m motivated and eager to continue contributing to the Boise Bicycle Project’s mission of creating inclusive community spaces, advocating for safer streets, and lowering barriers of access to the personal, social, financial, and environmental benefits of bicycling.

In my personal life I enjoy live music, spending time with friends and family, exploring new terrain on my bike or skis, coaching tennis, and cooking meals for others. I’m extremely proud to serve the community alongside my fellow board directors, our incredible volunteers, and the amazing BBP staff.
