We Ride in Unity | Memorial Ride for Alex Pretti

As we process this week's heartbreaking events in Minneapolis, BBP is joining a nationwide ride in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis and it's Angry Catfish bikeshop in memoriam of Alex Pretti, Renee Good, and everyone across our country who is impacted by the senseless violence, division and turmoil stemming from federal immigration enforcement.

While we deeply feel this loss and the continued effect of enforcement actions on members in our Boise community, we are inspired and galvanized by all good faith actors across our country - from Minneapolis to here in Boise - who fearlessly show up to advocate for a community and a nation where all are safe, welcome and supported.

In that same spirit, we invite our community together to send our love to a reeling Minneapolis and to commit ourselves anew to working towards a community that reflects our values - that you are welcome ... no matter what you look like, who you love, or where you are from.

Ride on Saturday 1/31/26. Starts and ends at the Boise Bicycle Project, Roll up 3:00 PM, Ride 3:30 PM.
