SEAN KEITHLY

BBP Board Member

Sean grew up in the Puget Sound area in Washington State, and has been riding a bike ever since the training wheels came off sometime in the mid-1980’s.  Whether it’s commuting to and from work, riding gravel and singletrack in the Boise foothills, or enjoying multi-day trips with his wife, Tessa, his days are always better when they involve two wheels.  A member of the board of the Boise Bicycle Project since 2021, he is excited and grateful to work with an incredibly dedicated group of staff and volunteers to support its core values of community, connection, and empowerment.

As the director of economic development in the Mayor’s Office at the City of Boise, he is a proud member of several other Boise boards, including the Downtown Boise Association, the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, and Trailhead.  Prior to moving to Boise in 2018, he served on the board of the Overland Mountain Bike Association in Fort Collins, CO where he helped initiate the organization's youth program.
