RALPH MUGOT

Shop director

Heyo!

My family moved to the sunny hot Las Vegas when I turned 10 years old from the Philippines. After years and years of destroying everything I can lay my hands on, I finally buckled down and learned how to work on my very own bike! Can you believe it? Yeah me neither. I spent most of
my days at the BMX pump track fixing all my friend’s bicycles. What a time.

After getting in a horrific car accident in Las Vegas, I had a chance to move to Boise in 2007 and I took it. Best decision of my life, duh. I started working for Bikes2Boards (RIP) in the spring of 2008. Where I got paid to work on bicycles! Can you believe it? I can’t. This is where I really honed my skills and quickly became the Head Mechanic.

Boise Bicycle Project has always been for the community throughout my tenure as a mechanic, and I had the opportunity to hop on as the Lead Mechanic and Educator. I’d love nothing but to continue the honest work BBP puts out for the growth of our community. So here I am. Long
story short, kid from the Islands to your Shop Director for this very amazing organization. I love playing music and you should come to one of my shows soon! You WILL probably regret it. JK. Also if you see a weird looking funny bike with a small wheel up front, that’s probably me.
Come say hi. I would love to show everyone how fun and fulfilling working on bicycles could be. Let’s destroy stuff (learn) together.
