BBP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

John Ottenhoff retired in 2019, following a career as a professor of English literature and academic administrator in New York, Michigan, and Chicago.

In 2012 he became VP for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at The College of Idaho; in 2018-19 he was the Interim COO of the Association of Governing Boards in Washington, DC.

He’s an avid road cyclist, logging his miles on the rural roads around Lake Lowell and out to the Oregon border. He became a BBP volunteer and board member in 2019-20.

Most memorable cycling experience: a 2018 ten-day trip around the Netherlands with two friends.
