Calling All Riders!
It's time for Boise's annual record setting bicycle parade. On Saturday, August 12th, join thousands of people on bikes as we cruise from Ann Morrison Park to the State Capitol Building for Boise's first Bicycle Rally on the Capitol steps. All types of bicycles, riders, and outfits are welcome -- costumes are definitely encouraged. Let's celebrate the pure joy of riding a bicycle and make our voices heard for stronger, safer, and more vibrant bicycle communities throughout the state of Idaho!
August 12, 2017 | 10:00am | Ann Morrison Park
Why? We've set bicycle parade records in Boise for the last 4 years, and those numbers make a difference. They tell the story and show the strength of bicycle communities. They prove the need of safer streets for Idaho's bicycling families. They create a vision of a freedom-filled pedal-powered future for Boise and beyond.
Registration is FREE for everyone. A $5 (or more) donation gets you the official 2017 parade patch, and every penny goes straight to Boise's bicycle nonprofits. Past proceeds have created miles of mountain bike trails in the foothills, helped us fight for bike lanes and safer streets, and have provided thousands of bicycles for children in need.
