Boise Bicycle Project Social Rides
are a way for us to engage our community, promote the environmental, social, and health benefits of riding, and, well get out and ride our bikes!
We want to empower YOU to organize and lead your dream social ride with us. You've got the ideas, we've got the resources. Let's get Boise riding!
Some Social Ride Guidelines:
(Want to bend the rules a little? Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to talk it through.)
- We typically host Social Rides on the first Friday of the month, leaving from the shop at 6pm (so employees can participate too!). We can be pretty flexible on this if need be.
- Social rides are for anyone & everyone - we want to encourage an inclusive atmosphere!
- We love collaborating with local businesses and organizations! If you need help coordinating, let us know.
- Safety is a priority! One of our staff or volunteers will give a brief safety talk before we ride. A front white light & rear red reflector is required when riding at night (yep, it's the law), and while helmets are not required by law, we highly recommend them (your brain will love you).
If you'd like to organize your dream social ride with us, fill out the google form linked below. Kelly, our Development Director Extraordinaire will be in touch with you to dial in details and get you riding!
