Easy and Effective Headset Adjustments: Inspecting/Servicing Headset
(Recommended 1 time a year, or immediately if you notice a “tick of play” in your headset)
Your headset is the bearing mechanism that allows your handlebars and fork to rotate smoothly in your frame; it’s also the only bearing mechanism parallel with the ground. A misadjusted headset can create divots/pits in your bearing cups that often cause your bike to pull to one side. In this class, you will learn how to disassemble and overhaul your headset mechanism. Everyone will leave with a better/smoother/longer lasting steering system.
