To make Bike-A-Thon even more impactful, BBP will take on the 24 Hour Dream Bike Challenge. We aim to transform 24 Bike-A-Thon participant's bikes in 24 hours on Idaho Gives Day, May 4, allowing 24 kids to have their very own dream bike to pedal all month and beyond.
We’re partnering with three local community organizations to identify 24 kids whose bikes are in need of some BBP-repair love. On May 4, BBP mechanics and volunteers will embark on a 24 hour journey to pick up, makeover, and return each dream-ified bike to every one of the 24 kids.
During these 24 hours, we’ll also be asking for community support to help make these 24 kids’ Bike-A-Thon a success. You can sponsor the miles they pledge to ride during Idaho Gives' 24 hours of giving. $10 brings one of these kids 1 mile closer to their 100 mile goal for the month of May, and supports BBP’s Youth Earn-a-Bike Program.
