Track your Bike-a-Thon & Rack Up Your Points!
1. Ride your bike everywhere and anywhere!
2. Track your ride with the BBP point tracker!
Each ride you take is worth points: ride on the green belt? 1 point! Did you wear your helmet? 10 points! Did you ride with a friend? 1 point!
3.Total your points & win prizes!
At the end of each week, tally up the points you earned from your rides. On June 1st, calculate your total points for May and turn in your tracking sheet at the Finale Celebration. There will be prizes for the riders with the most points!
Be a Bike-a-Thon Stoker!
A stoker is the person on the back of a tandem bicycle who provides the power and motivation to keep things rolling. If your kid would like to be a Bike-a-Thon Stoker, they can seek sponsorships for the points they earn by biking from family, friends, neighbors, etc. All Bike-A-Thon proceeds will benefit Boise Bicycle Project's Youth Programs.
Example: If Jill receives a $1/point pledge from her parents and $3/point from her grandparents, and Jill earns 100 points between May 1 - 31st, then Jill has earned $400 towards BBP's Youth Programs.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED DURING THE FINALE Celebration ON JUNE 1st FOR the Top Riders & ALL KIDS WHO PARTICIPATE.
