And we’re off! Jimmy & Adam have their bikes equipped with lights, bells, whistles (ok, no whistles), and a trusty trailer. They’ve had enough snacks to keep em’ fueled for the next several hours. And they’re ready to embark on the 24 Hour Dream Bike Challenge.
Over the next 6 hours, they’ll pedal their way to three community centers to pick up 24 kid’s bikes. These kids are Bike-A-Thon participants whose bikes are in need of some BBP maintenance and love. They shared their dream bike boards with us to inspire us as we trick out their bikes and ensure they’ll be able to pedal all month long and beyond!
You can see each of the 24 kid and their dream bikes on here. You can donate through idahogives.org to sponsor these kids' miles. Just $10 gets one of these 24 kids one mile closer to their goal of 100 miles in May and helps them raise money and awareness for BBP’s Youth Earn-a-Bike program, which aims to provide bikes to even more area youth.
Thanks for supporting the Journey!
