Friday, November 25th | Noon

With the shop closed two days this week, I’m looking forward to spending lots of time on the bike. Join me and other BBP friends on Friday at noon for a casual cafe cruise through Boise. We’ll be slow-riding around town at a no-drop pace for a family-friendly distance.

If you’re a member or sign-up for a Membership before the ride, you’ll get a raffle ticket for a BBP prize after the ride.

Small Business Saturday & Sunday Sale!

The shop is closed this Thursday and Friday so our staff can enjoy Thanksgiving. But we are back open on Saturday, Nov. 25 and Sunday Nov. 26 for our Small Business Saturday & Sunday Sale!

All customers get 10% off all weekend and BBP Alley Cat & Century Ride Members get to apply their member discounts for savings up to 25% off refurbished bikes, as-is bikes, and all used parts.

Find yourself the perfect commuter bike or some fancy upgraded parts for your favorite cyclist. You get a great deal and the satisfaction of knowing your purchases support our non-profit programming.

#NovemberMemberDrive Update

Speaking of supporting the BBP, our November Membership Drive is still going strong. If you haven’t yet purchased/renewed your membership (and shared the gift of membership with other bicyclists), there are only 9 days left to sign up and enjoy the #novembermemberdrive perks. Giving the gift of a BBP membership provides a cyclist in your life with a year of member classes, unlimited shop time, discounts, and many other opportunities for bicycling enrichment.

Stop by the shop or go to boisebicycleproject.org to purchase a membership for yourself or a friend today.

Doug's Member Story

Be sure to check out our Share your Member Story series. In honor of the drive, some of our awesome Members explain why they love being apart of the BBP community.
We caught Doug's Member Story in between dirt jumps. Check out why he loves BBP - you'll want to watch through the credits.

Adopt a Kids Bike for the Christmas Kids Bike Giveaway

It costs BBP about $50 to dream-ify a bicycle for a child. With your help, we can ensure that every one of the kids who is referred for the Christmas Kids Bike Giveaway receives the bicycle of their dreams on December 16th.

Volunteer with BBP!

If you’ve been in to a Volunteer Night in the past few weeks then you’ve seen how feverishly everyone has been working in order to have all the bikes ready for the Christmas Giveaway. Bikes will continue to be the top priority but we’ve got a wide range of other jobs if you want to help out but you’d rather keep those paws clean.

We’re also pushing our “Build-a-bike” program at this time, allowing volunteers to take bikes home to work on. This is a great option for folks who’ve got some basic tools at home and would like to work on bikes in the comfort of their own garage at their own speed. Plus, it helps clear some much needed floor space here at the shop.

If you don't have time or tools to work at home but you have a truck or trailer we could sure use your help. We’re looking for a few volunteers willing to drive bikes to and from the shop as needed, so if you’ve got either of those and some spare time on your hands contact our Volunteer Coordinator at aaron@boisebicycleproject.org to learn how you can pitch in. Thanks!
