We have officially broke ground, and the back half of the building is almost completely cleared out! By the end of this week, we will have the back half of the shop empty, allowing construction to begin. Now we do not have our building permit yet, but we do have our demo permit! This means that construction crews can start coming in to do prep work, so that when we get our building permit, we will be able to hit the ground running! The first thing they will do is construct a wall to separate the back half of the shop from the front. This will help keep dust and noise to a minimum while they are working.
During construction all donations will be accepted at a separate location, directly behind our shop. The address to this location is 1026 La Point St, which is the old location of House of Wheels, and the future home of Lost Grove Brewing. Donations will be accepted Wed-Fri 11-5:30 and Sat. 11-4:30. Lost Grove Brewing company will hopefully be up and running this winter, serving up some of Boise's finest brews. BBP is really excited to have Lost Grove Brewing in the neighborhood. Not just because they serve awesome beer, but because they are a strong community minded buisness that will do great things for the Lusk district. They have been a huge help during the last year in multiple ways. They let us store more than 300 bikes in their warehouse leading up to the Christmas kids bike giveaway, as well as they are letting us use their space for the next couple months to build bikes and accept donations while we are under construction. So keep your eyes peeled this winter for Boise's newest brewery, Lost Grove!
